Bar El Almendro, La Mela, Sorbas

Hola! and welcome to "El Almendro" situated in the picturesque village of La Mela, nestled between the towns of Lubrin and Sorbas in the Almeria province. We are the husband and wife team of Chris and Maria who have been serving tapas, meals and homemade pizzas since March 2008.

Here at "El Almendro" we pride ourselves by serving freshly prepared meals using the finest, locally sourced ingredients from our suppliers.  We also offer a choice of carefully selected local and international wines and artisan beers for you to enjoy. 

Please consult our opening times for exact opening hours, which are currently Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime. On Saturday evenings we have our main menu with a selection of steaks, lamb chops and salmon, as well as our homemade pizzas and "meal deals", offering sharing platters which include a bottle of wine or cava.  On Sundays from September to June we offer traditional roast lunches, with the option of steak, salmon or vegetarian melas.  However, during the summer months we offer Lite Bites and Tapas except when we are holding one of our "Sizzling Summer Barbecues".

All our menus cater for vegetarians, with gluten free options available upon request.

Please note if you wish to dine with us at any time BOOKINGS ARE NECESSARY as we such a small venue and all meals are cooked to order, hence there may be a wait at busy times.
